We have not long returned from our holiday to Spain. It was just as lovely as usual and of course we got to take Baby Beastie on his first holiday abroad. Three years ago Beastie was pretty much the exact same age so it was interesting to see whether he would cope the same. There was a lot of napping with Baby Beastie (as you would expect) and he appears to love the water as much as his big brother. At least when they’re older one boy can’t moan about the other being taken away as a baby and the other not.
The week was spent mostly relaxing around the pool and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Time to relax and enjoy simple pleasures, such as reading a book, having a glass of wine, eating lots of lovely food and most importantly spending time together as a family. Precious.

These gorgeous pics so make me want to go abroad for a holiday but
1. we can’t afford a holiday
and
2. Both the boys and Hubby are so, so grumpy in the sun that the reality of it would be a lot less fun than you’d expect.
We’ll wait a few years before jetting off I think 🙂
At least we have had some nice weather crammed in between the torrential downpours, so even though you haven’t been away you have seen some sun. This weekend has been lovely hasn’t it. Our holiday was lovely but it is pretty hard work going away with little ones…the whole airport scenario and dealing with hot cars! very tiring! x
