It’s finally December and the Christmas countdown is in full swing meaning that it’s time for pulling out all the stops for creating some Christmas magic.
Last year I discovered The Portable North Pole (PNP) for my boys and it was priceless seeing their reactions to their very own video message from Santa. So when I was asked if we’d like to have a Magic Pass to try out its new features and videos for 2016, then it had to be a yes.
If you haven’t heard of the Portable North Pole then it’s one of the world’s most beloved Christmas family entertainment brands, dedicated to bringing the magic of Santa into homes with personalised video and call messages from the big guy himself! Each message is carefully crafted to engage, surprise and keep children in suspense and they have become a modern tradition in millions of homes worldwide at Christmas.
The free video message is really good but I was keen to see what other videos I could create that would be different for each of the boys. They each had a different video theme that they watched together, with messages that were personal to them both. They both remembered his message to them last year (when I created a video using the free service) and they jumped up and raced to my laptop to see what he had to say to them this year. So sweet! I loved watching their reactions as the video unfolded and how you could see their faces eagerly awaiting what Santa had to say next.
You can also create phone calls from Santa which I haven’t tried yet. I think this is a great idea for adding to the excitement. You can create the phone messages and they come through to your phone as an actual call. Now for me that makes it all seem really real and I’ll be saving a call for each of them as Christmas gets nearer!

You can see the reactions of my boys in this video. I think their expressions say it all and you can see the magic that these messages create. I’m looking forward to sharing some more features with them very soon.
