A closer look at my JORD watch with a giveaway

I actually haven’t worn a watch for a few years now and the last time I received one was for my thirtieth birthday. I wore it until the battery ran out and then I never wore it again because the jeweller was expecting ridiculous amounts of money to send it off to replace the battery. So being a little tight fisted and a little peeved with the watch maker, I decided to forego wearing a watch.

I took a look at their range and instantly knew which watch would be perfect for me. I opted for the Frankie 35 series in Dark Sandalwood & Mint, as I love mint and I thought the contrast in colours looked quite striking.

There are a range of wood finishes, face designs and colours to choose from. What I love is that they feel so lightweight and after not wearing a watch for years, I thought that I’d easily get irritated by having one again. It’s so light that I genuinely forget that I’m wearing it at times.

When you’ve chosen your timepiece, they provide a great service where you give them your wrist measurements using a printable guide and your watch arrives sized perfectly for your wrist.
