Pink Lining are known for their pretty fabulous changing bags but did you know that they also have a baby and nursery range amongst other things?
A little while ago the lovely people at Pink Lining sent their ‘Hop, Skip, Jump to Bed’ Magical Musical Cot Mobile for my little girl. We hadn’t actually managed to buy one mainly due to the fact that she is still not in her big cot, so the timing was just right to add this to her room.
I kept the boys old mobile because they both loved the melodies but sadly the dangling animal attachment had long since broken off. However, their mobile was a bit gimmicky with various sounds and lights and actually, I rather liked the idea of having a more traditional style one.
This enchanting mobile comes with beautiful felt figures in lovely bright colours for little ones to look at. It has a wind up mechanism that plays Do-Re-Mi from the Sound of Music while the figures rotate. I’ve always loved the tune myself and it’s popular with all of my children. It instantly calms my little girl when I wind it up and it’s definitely helping her get used to her larger cot, especially as she can get a bit panicky if she’s in the cot alone in the room.
It comes beautifully packaged in this box, which makes it perfect for giving as a gift. I can’t fault the pretty factor.
It’s made with lovely fabrics and has such lovely attention to detail with embroidered flowers and a butterfly. It’s a perfect addition to her cot.
It features a 3D bunny, toadstool, butterfly and ladybird.
The fabric covering the arch matches her sleeping bag with beautiful blossom trees and owls. This mobile has a lovely ‘handmade’ feel about it and compliments her mint coloured cot and other accessories in her room.
Here is the mobile in action. When she is on the changer mat that sits across the cot, she swipes at the creatures and sometimes gives them a tug. Of course this mobile won’t last very long if I let her do that, so hopefully she can enjoy it a little longer before she begins to sit up!
Nb. This mobile was sent for review as part of my role as a Pink Lining Ambassador.
