#GiftOfGiving with Frugi

Seeing as we’re fast approaching Christmas and it is of course the season for giving, it was a pleasant surprise to be gifted a Frugi outfit from one of my very original blogging friends.

The lovely Karen who blogs at Would Like to Be  is one of the bloggers who is part of the #FrugiFamily.  I love seeing photos that Karen takes all of her gorgeous girls in various brightly coloured outfits and particularly dresses. So it is no surprise to see that she loves this brand and that her daughters wear a lot of their clothes.

Frugi have a fantastic range of organic clothes and you always know that organic usually means super soft. What’s great about Frugi is how ethical their clothes are and the fact that the organic cotton doesn’t involve processing with chemicals which means that it’s less likely to irritate your little ones skin.  My little girl already has a couple of muslins from this lovely brand and they are by far the softest against her skin. So I knew that I could expect their clothes to be made of a high standard.

It’s lovely to be able to show you this beautiful dress we received as part of the Frugi #GiftOfGiving project.

I was able to choose from their Christmas collection and after much deliberation, decided to choose this Isla Cord dress. It’s perfect for outings and even Christmas Day itself. The dress is made from organic cord featuring a polar bear appliqué. It has popper fastenings at the back of the neck for easier dressing, which makes changing my little lady easier seeing as she is 15 weeks old.

The dress is made very well and the quality of the material is superb. The sizing is a little on the large size, so my baby girl is a little swamped at the moment but she’s growing very fast so I don’t think it will be long until she fits into it!  The fabric is nice and thick so it will definitely keep her warm throughout the coming months and it’s nice to find a dress with long sleeves, as so many are usually short.

I like to dress her in anything with tights at the moment and I love that a combination of coloured tights can be teamed with this dress. I imagine it would also look adorable worn with some little winter boots! In fact I think this dress is extremely versatile and would look lovely with any kind of shoe. Pink leather moccasins will be worn here.
