4 Ideas for UK Party Venues

Parties in the UK are unfortunately on hold at the minute thanks to COVID-19, but if you’re planning a birthday bash, a wedding or even a corporate event in the next year or so, you’re probably wondering about venues. There are lots of unique options across the UK that don’t necessary mimic what your friends and family have done in the past so do some research and see what’s about. Of course, your budget will play a big part but I have teamed up with a wedding venue in Somerset to offer four ideas to get you started.

Vineyards

You don’t have to go to the Mediterranean to find a decent vineyard. In fact, there are plenty dotted around the UK that will give you that “destination wedding” feel without having to convince all of your gests to hop on a plane. Vineyards are also great for anniversaries, engagement parties and other special events and the photo opportunities will be fantastic.

Party Buses

Definitely not appropriate for a wedding, but party buses are great for work do’s, birthdays and stag/hen parties. They are definitely ideal if you want your guests to let their hair down!

Private Schools

You may shudder at the thought of having your party in a school, but private schools are usually beautiful spots, often comparable to stately homes, in fact. The chances are, there’s probably one or two in your nearby town and just like vineyards, they provide fantastic opportunities for a beautiful photo or two.

Museums

Museums are typically very majestic and often have function rooms where you could host a party. The Natural History Museum, for example, hosts many events and parties all throughout the year but there may be a museum closer to you if you’re not local to London.
