Mini to Midi with Femme Luxe

I’m showcasing more black dresses (as of course you can never have too many) and am wearing a ruched black midi dress that is quite long as far as midi dresses go. This dress goes almost to my ankles, so it’s definitely one for taller ladies. It features a cowl neck which is built into the elastic around the top of the dress and has some sleeves that are purely decorative.

This is a lovely flattering dress that is similar in the way it feels to one of the white dresses that I’ve worn before in a previous post. I don’t have a figure with an accentuated waist but these style of dresses are cut in a way that they compliment your figure, rather than highlighting areas that you’d rather not.

This dress that comes in a lovely red wine colour is shorter than I’d normally choose. It’s a case of getting the legs out like when I wear denim shorts. The wrapover style to the front is complemented by a square cut neckline to the back. The colour is great for autumn and winter and for parties too.

This black jumpsuit could easily have been in the running as a catsuit for Halloween. It’s fitted throughout and comes with criss cross detailing across the back. All I needed was a mask and cat ears and I’d have been good to go.

I like the way this jumpsuit is cut under the bust rather than the waist and the only downside I can see is always when you wear a jumpsuit – when you need to go to the loo! It is made of stretchy fabric, so as long as you can get the back tied up again, it should be fairly straight forward…
