When it comes to dresses and worrying about whether they are too short, you can’t beat a midi dress. You still get all the feminine vibes of a dress with a much more classic look and feel to it. I featured some dresses that were above the knee recently, but I do like how dressy midi length dresses look.
The Midi with Femme Luxe
This ribbed knitted dress in stone has a v neck at the front and the back, which gives it a great look. It’s ideal for the autumn and can be a more dressy look with heels or casual with boots.
The neckline really makes this dress and the neutral tone makes it great to go with anything and not as stark as white dresses can be.
A do love most shades of blue, but I particularly love this shade of cornflower blue. It’s just the most pretty colour.
Once again this a really flattering midi style that has ruching from the waistline and a tie to adjust it as you wish. The one sleeve feature makes a very modest dress have a bit of an edge. I wore a similar style to this in black when I featured black dresses. I always think one shoulder tops and dresses always look rather chic.
I usually like to feature a co-ord and this ribbed set is a lovely neutral colour like the dress. This is loungewear with a flare, quite literally as the legs are flared at the bottom. It’s super comfy and the peplum top very floaty and easy to wear. Don’t forget your co-ord top can also be worn with what you already have, such as leggings, jeans and denim shorts (brrr, maybe with tights on too!).
Still lounging around at home in your comfies and worried about answering the door. I gave up caring a while ago but this set is certainly presentable for answering the door!
