Jitterbug | Review

We love to test out new games and especially ones that can involve everyone. There might be fighting but at least everyone can have a go and not feel left out.  So when we were sent Jitterbug to try out, I knew that we were onto a winner.

The concept is simple. Each player has 4 coloured legs that they need to attach to the Jitterbug – the only problem is that he’s jittering all over the place and it’s not as easy as it looks!

It’s a game for 2-4 players. To start you press the hat on top to activate the jittering and the winner is the first person to attach all 4 of their colour legs to the Jitter Bug and press his hat.  If you don’t press his hat quickly, you’ll likely end up back to square one again as the legs will fall off!

We’ve had many tense moments playing this and it’s definitely one for those with sharp reflexes. After trialling the game on various surfaces, we found that the best place to play is on the kitchen table, rather than the carpet. For extra space, your best bet would probably be to play it on hard flooring.

It’s one of those fast paced games that can be incredibly frustrating but equally as satisfying if you’re swift enough to beat your opponents!

It’s definitely a crowd pleaser and creates lots of noise. It’s great fun for all the family and perfect for playing at Christmas.
