Feeling like spring with Femme Luxe

I’m so pleased to be writing this post now that we’re in February. It feels like the month will never arrive, but finally spring feels like it’s in sniffing distance, rather than the chillier vibes from my last post.

I’ve mentioned before that I always veer towards electric blue clothes, so this dress was always going to be a choice for me. It’s off the shoulder, midi length style makes it really elegant and the wrap-over skirt and waist tie very flattering.

This time it was exciting to pair it with some bright yellow wedges, as a nod towards warmer weather on the way, plus there was no rain for a change. I love blue and yellow together but I also think it would look great with some gold, silver or tan shoes.

Here’s the dress again but in classic black. Black dresses are always a good choice and of course will go with anything accessories wise, similar to white dresses.

The yellow wedges were the natural choice here, as my other pair are navy and I’m not a fan of matching those two together.

Does anything else say spring more than pastel colours? This knitted dress has gorgeous colours and is a great addition to my spring wardrobe. Bubblegum pink is another favourite shade of mine, along with yellow.

I’m not normally a massive fan of striped dresses that feature the stripes horizontally, but every now and then I find one that works for me. You can see that I pretty much arranged my outfits around my shoes, which made outfit changes much easier 😉

Soon enough we’ll be heading towards no coats, legs out and get to wear denim shorts again.
