As a keen reader myself, I always love to gift books at Christmas as I think they make a wonderful keepsake present and are great for keeping little readers interested in reading.
These Vicky Cowie rhyming books are beautifully illustrated and provide a few laughs for grown ups too. The first book is the tale of a young girls magical walk through the woods, and the secrets she will keep forever and the second is based on the British myth of the Brownie and this story is a great one to get small children giggling, and some grownups too.
