Bathtimes have always been a favourite with Beastie in our house so we were more than happy to trial some products called Crazy Soap for kids. We were sent the bath foam, body paint and goo to try out and there hasn’t been a bath time since that these haven’t been used. Beastie requests them one by one so when we run out, there is only one thing for it, to buy more!
It’s made to be gentle on the skin (as you would expect with kids soap) and it has a lovely fruity fragrance.
The foam comes out just like your hair mousse but is strangely bouncy and pliable! Beastie holds out his hands in glee when I shake the can and it’s easy to form a shape in the hand. Then the rest is up to them and here you can see Beastie with the foam and on his head…
We move onto the pot of goo and if you’re not careful most of it can be scooped out in one go. This pot lathers up nicely and you can also run it under the water to create lovely fruity bubbles.
Next up is always the blue body paint and he always asks for it to be put straight into his hand so that he can squish it together in his hands and rub it together, which after all is what it is designed for. This paints looks very messy but it washes off surprisingly well, despite initially looking like it will stain bright blue! The paint is also available in red so if you have to the two then when mixed together they make purple. I think we need to get that one…
Overall we have been very impressed with the soap and for toddlers that absolutely love bath time these are an added bonus. If like Beastie your little one can get a bit bored with his bath toys and finds soaking the bathroom floor much more enticing, then these provide a welcome distraction. Much more fun washing this down the plug hole than mopping up the bathroom tiles! We think it’s lots of fun and is another great way for children to be creative and learn whilst in the bath.
The range is available as follows:
Crazy Soap Foam RRP – £2.00 for 225ml
Crazy Soap Body Paint – £2.49 for 250ml
Crazy Soap Bath Goo – £2.99 for 250ml
It is designed for kids aged 3+ and to be used under supervision. Apparently you need to avoid the obvious areas such as eyes, mouth, ears and face. Oops we got the head and face, but no harm was caused! (If they are wanting to create hats and beards then this recommendation is not that feasible).
If you would like to get your hands on this fantastic range for your little ones then I am giving away this set below, identical to the one that we have tried out.
