Cala Pada: Our TUI Ibiza Trip

I can hardly believe that it was only a few months ago that we were pinching ourselves that we were holidaying in the Dominican Republic.  We never would have imagined that we’d be taking another trip away before the summer holidays were out, yet a chance to visit Cala Pada in Ibiza came along and it truly made the end of our summer.

We’ve never travelled so close to the beginning of term starting, but I must say we quite enjoyed going away once the season is starting to wrap up. I felt that it was perhaps a little bit quieter and of course it’s always nice to soak up some more sunshine before we head into autumn.

We stayed at the TUI Magic Life Cala Pada. Having already stayed all inclusive in the Dominican Republic we know that it makes life so much easier when it comes to entertaining and feeding three children.

We filmed for TUI on our last trip away so we pretty much knew what to expect this time round and had a lot of planning to do beforehand.

On the day of our arrival, we checked into the hotel at 9 pm where our bags were taken to our room while we grabbed a bite to eat. Unfortunately for us the restaurant had closed by that time but we were pleased to find that the bar served savoury and sweet snacks throughout the night. There are also fridges located around the resort that are full of large bottles of water for you to freely take as you need, so you know that you will never need to worry about not having enough water to use in your room.

Our aim for the week was to try as many activities that we could, as a couple as well as with the kids.

Then in between we were able to explore the resort and the neighbouring beach.

One evening we enjoyed tapas down at the beach and the view really couldn’t be beaten.

We spent a couple of evenings down at the beach watching the sun set. Unfortunately you get the really amazing views of the sun setting on the opposite side of the island, but we still managed to get some really pretty shots all the same.
