Our amazing trip to the Dominican Republic – Part 2

I never need an excuse to look back through holiday photos, so actually writing up posts on our trips away is not only lovely to write but it’s also me documenting the things that we got up to, that I will most likely forget in years to come.

The boys are still talking about our time away now and the friends that they met along the way. If you missed my first post, you can read Part 1 where I talk mainly about the hotel that we stayed in and the facilities it had. There is also a round up of our trip over on Mini Travellers, which includes some do’s and don’ts at the hotel and some other useful information that we would have found useful to know before we went.

The beach wasn’t far by road train but we only managed to go there a couple of times, once during the day and another time to see the sunset.

As with all beaches, you’re much more exposed to the sun and the breeze means that you go red very quickly without enough sun protection on. We found that the rays were really strong and you needed really high factors to stop any burning. Everyone we met said the same and we ended up having to buy a factor 70 sun screen in the hotel shop.

As you can see, we spent the majority of our time in water!

And that sums up our wonderful trip of a lifetime to the Caribbean.

Below is the video that truly shows you what Punta Cana is all about and how AMAZING it is as a family holiday destination…
