Blush and grey bedroom inspiration

I’m always thinking of new additions to our home and one area that I keep meaning to change is our bedoom. It actually has units built in which obviously means that we are limited as to what we can do with it but in actual fact, it helps keep things simple.

The units are white, which is never going to offend me (until I feel dark furniture is in again!) and it’s a good base to be working with.

I’m not going to lie, I like grey a lot and it’s the key colour in our lounge along with yellow. So it’s no surprise that I want use it again to team up with another colour in the bedroom. That colour is blush and I think it’s just a gorgeous combination for the bedroom.

Pink goes well with gold and copper, meaning that some metallic accents will work well with the colour pallette!

The walls will remain plain but the plan will be to add some artwork above the bed.

Then I would love to add an enormous knitted blanket to add as a lovely warm throw.

For a while I have wanted to place a rug by the bedside but haven’t been able to find what I want. Now I know that a fluffy rug would be perfect underfoot on those really cold mornings when you get out of bed.

We currently have curtains on both windows but because our bedroom is at the front of the house and not very private, one set is often drawn. These cafe style blinds would keep the room nice and bright as well as being minimal.

To finish of the look, I would add some gold or copper lamps to go on the bedside tables, as I love the vintage look lightbulbs that are so popular at the moment.
