Last week we were invited to attend the launch of the new Nintendo Switch game, Yoshi’s Crafted World at Kidzania, London.
Yoshi’s Crafted World is a new handcrafted style game featuring all of our favourite Nintendo characters on a platform that can be enjoyed by all ages. The aim of the game is to find eggs! As you explore every corner in the game, a well placed egg can open up new pathways for you to track down hidden collectibles.
We have been to Kidzania once before and that was when we just had the boys, so it was all new for Georgie on this occasion. Once we had been through the exciting check in part of Kidzania (which is just like an airport), we were whisked off to join in with the special Egg Hunt that was taking place for the new Nintendo game.
The kids got to experience the game first hand and they completed the egg hunt around Kidzania (searching for letters on the wall, not eggs) they each received 10 Kidzo’s and Yoshi’s Easter Egg Hunt certification.
If you pose in front of the promotional display (like us!) and share on Instagram or twitter using the hashtags #YoshisCraftedWorld and #Kidzania then you will be in with a chance of winning a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Yoshi’s Crafted World, a Nintendo Switch Online 12 month Family Membership and a KidZania Family Pass.
Not only were the kids excited to try out the new game but they were thrilled to be able to explore Kidzania once more. If you’re not familiar with the concept, then Kidzania is simply quite unique. It’s an indoor city for kids based in the Westfield Shopping Centre, London.
This is where your kids to get to have a go at a job like a grown up would. It provides real-life entertaining activities and it’s aimed at children aged 4-14. It’s great for giving them an insight into the adult world by taking part in a choice of roles which will earn them kidZos (KidZania currency). They can be a Doctor, Dentist, Police Officer, Firefighter, news broadcasters and loads more.
Here are the boys ‘working’ in the bank where they were tasked to transfer some money between buildings!
It’s such a great concept and there really is something for everyone here, although Georgie was still just a little bit too young to do the activities – as no parents get involved.
The Egg Hunt is going on until Easter Sunday, so if you’re heading to Kidzania before then, you’ll be able to join in with all of the fun until the 21st.
Nb. We were kindly invited to this event at Kidzania for the launch of Nintendo’s Yoshi’s Crafted World. All views and opinions are our own.
